Why not justuse a button partial?
A ProStyles master though is very different to just making a partial of your button but the two are not mutually exclusive.
Make a partial button with a site wide link and then style it using a ProStyles master. Color scheme changes can then by synchronised between normal buttons and partial buttons easily.
