NEW Sections Fix now has an option to auto pad the section content.
NEW Sections-EQ Demo File available for download from the Sections Product page.
IMPROVED
Top Margins are now automatically removed when Equalise Height is selected. Top margin can now be left set to auto for equalised height.
Edit Mode display improvements when no connectors are used.
NEW Sections Fix is a small stack, bundled with Sections that allows you to fix content at the top or bottom of a section. This has many uses, such as scroll down buttons and content placed at the bottom of equalised height stacks.
The Chrome Bug Fix setting has now been removed as it is no longer needed since the Foundation 1.4 update,
NEW Sections now has full MagicMarker capability built in ready for MagicGellan.
You will be able to auto generate your Magellan menus using the marker ID and the section name that you enter in to Sections settings.
Menus will automatically re-generate if you move sections around the page
IMPROVED Section padding is now removed when the section is in 100% height mode. It is then re-applied below the two-way breakpoint when the section reverts to normal display mode.
You content is never cropped or lost at the bottom of a 100% high section
Version 1.4 Adds two new features that may require you to reset a couple of stacks setting. Please see the notes concerning Backgrounds and Fixed Images
NEW radial gradients and color stop settings for both radial and two color gradients.
YOU MAY NEED TO RE-SELECT THE BACKGROUND AND/OR GRADIENT TYPE AFTER THE UPDATE TO 1.0.4
IF YOUR BACKGROUNDS DISAPPEAR IT IS SIMPLY THAT THE BACKGROUND SETTING HAS REVERTED TO NONE.
Although inconvenient, this will allow much greater flexibility in available gradients and also reduces necessary code output from the stack, making it much leaner on your page.
NEW Fix Chrome Bug setting to stop Chrome failing to display multiple fixed background images.
Please see the note at the bottom of the Layering Content page regarding use of this feature with page cover images from Site Styles or Eclipse.
NEW The Background Top control in Sections - Settings now allows you to offset the background with respect to the section stack contents.
This enables content to purposefully overflow the bounds of the background. Please ensure that you read and understand the principles and usage of this advanced feature on the Layering Content page.
IMPROVED Auto padding calculations to make setting up a sections stack with a slant angle even easier and more reliable.
v.1.0.4 of Sections now outputs up to 75% less CSS code than previous versions.
This means that if you are just using a Section Stack as a Magellan container and marker, or a Foundation Equalise Column background the stack produces only the code required for that function.
This is very much in the spirit of all the BWD stacks.
Sections uses no Javascript. It is a CSS only stack thus it provides minimal impact on page load speeds.
