Joey Scroll Content

Joey Scroll Conent was designed to house a MagicGellan Nav.

It works equally well for content that you want to display at a certain distance scrolled.

The Foundation Image above, is only displayed for the first 30 pixels of scrolling.

Content can come into view to prompt users as they scroll to a particular part of a page.

Near the bottom of the page, at 80% of the total height, another Scroll Content is revealed.

These content areas can be used to target information on the page or provide additional information

Basic Page Organisation

Joey Content inside a fixed TopBar is also fixed.

It sounds obvious but if affects how you organise other content when it is going to change size.

This page for instance uses a sticky TopBar so that the content is pushed down by the Orbit Slider.

As the TopBar fixes, the Joey content is collapsed for a seamless transition.

As a general rule, it makes sense to keep scroll content relatively limited in height.

It is perfectly possible to have Joey content of either flavour (Drop or Scroll) occupy the full height of the page.

The question has to be asked, why you would want to do this?

Please use Joey responsibly and don't give kangaroos a bad name.

Think about users scrolling behaviour.

You may put several scroll activated messages on the page that make perfect sense as you test your site.

In reality most users flick up an down pages much faster than you do whilst admiring your creation.

This can easily lead to a myriad opening and closing messages that neither make sense to the user nor look visually attractive.

This is a demonstration page with a difference. Instead of glamorizing, Big White Duck tells it the way it is.
