Whats New in Grummage Plus for Stacks 3
Works in Partials
All the Grummage stacks have now been modified to work in Stacks 3 Partials.
This means, just like the Foundation columns, you will now be able to have just a Grummage stack in a partial and not loose the Foundation CSS
Content Width Control just got a lot easier
Grummage always allowed a wide variety of content and background widths. Now they are all available on one dropdown. No more complex combinations of settings. Here's how it works with Max Width Selected:
There is now one simple Content Width setting. This controls the behavior of any column stacks contained in a Grummage Plus. It works with Grummage columns and Foundation columns.
Here are the how it behaves with the Content Width Control choices:
Content Width: Normal Site Width
Columns behave just as you would expect them to do if they were on the page as normal. They obey the site max width and they auto-centre when the browser is wider than this width. This paragraph is in a 1 column.
The great thing though is that other (non-column) content and background images etc can still go full width.

This Paragraph is not in a column stack BUT IS WITHIN THE SAME GRUMMAGE PLUS stack as the Columns above.It will therefore be allowed to go full width. Its just like it is on the page as normal except you get all the Grummage advanced padding and background options.
At even obeys the same rules with the width of the Grummage Plus stack set to 80%

The only change to the stacks below was to set the outer Grummage Plus' Content width to Full Width Content. No changes are necessary to the column stacks within it. How easy is that?.....

Other Max Width Options
Proportional Max Width
Proportional Max-Width can give your page an air of consistency. It removes the jarring nature of a traditional fixed width, and can be retained at various screen widths.
This Grummage Plus is set to a proportional max width of 90%.
As with Full Width setting, by setting the content width to Site Width then anything within Grummage Plus that is inside a column will be limited to the normal site width and behave just as though it were on the page body.
Alignment can be set to left, center or right, and the proportional width can be removed for small or tablet sizes.
